As a mum-of-four, Kirsten Lovelock knows more than most how demanding Christmas can be for parents. But thanks to Park, she’s made the most expensive time of the year a lot more manageable.

She saw our TV advert three years ago and knew that budgeting with Park would allow her and husband Darren to afford everything their children wanted for Christmas.

“This is my third year saving with Park and I totally love it,” said Kirsten. “With having four gorgeous children, it made sense to save, as I couldn’t afford Christmas otherwise.”

Christmas wish list

Since their mum became an Agent, Jack, 14, Harry, 11, Toby, 7 and Davina, 5, have had the best Christmases ever.

Kirsten said: “They all want what they see on the TV and the pressure is always on. But I tell them to make a wish list, and they now always seem to receive what’s on it, thanks to Park.

“They never go without anything and I always try to get what’s on their list. Their faces on Christmas morning makes it worthwhile and the neighbours at the end or our street must certainly hear us!

“Last Christmas, Jack had an iPod Touch, Harry got a new golf bag, Toby got a PSP and Davina got lots of girlie things.

“Oh, and not forgetting my lovely husband Darren – he got an iPad2. That kept him quiet for hours, and still does – well worth the money!”

A little each week

Kirsten finds making small regular instalments throughout the year is much easier than paying for items in one go.

She said: “Just putting aside a little each week doesn’t seem as daunting as it is paying for items in full, as it is spread out throughout the year, making is more manageable.

“It contributes to a massive pot at the end of the year, enabling you to spend, spend and spend. And it’s totally stress and hassle-free.”

Food and gifts sorted

The flexibility of Love2shop vouchers allows Kirsten to shop for everything she needs for Christmas.

“We usually spend them in Argos and Iceland, so our presents and food are covered,” she said. “They’re so flexible, you can use them almost anywhere.”

“We like to use the ‘click and collect’ service at Argos, ordering items online and collecting them from our local store.

“Doing it this way it’s convenient, hassle free, and you just go in and pay for everything with your vouchers. You are then able to go home and wrap it all – it’s brilliant”

Time to shop

Kirsten receives her Love2shop vouchers in plenty of time to shop for presents. This is important, especially when buying presents for her two eldest boys.

She said: “Jack and Harry were diagnosed with autism four years ago. When they’re choosing their Christmas presents, they’re normally quite specific what they would like, and they don’t normally change their mind.

“As we receive our vouchers in mid-November, the rush hasn’t started in the shops, so everything they would like is in stock.

“There’s nothing more rewarding and fulfilling than seeing your children gleaming with excitement, knowing Santa has been, and brought all what they have dreamed of.

“And as a mummy, this is the best Christmas present in the world. Thank you Park – you’re a girl’s best friend!”
