"I started the year with the best of intentions, but it always felt like there was something else to pay for. I might have started paying for Christmas later than I planned, but once I got organised I felt so much better.

I placed my order in January as I wanted to make sure I had Christmas sorted in advance. I had the best of intentions at the start of the year, but as the kids went back to school and then the weeks and months rumbled on there was always an excuse not to start paying.

I didn't have much money in January, then there was something the kids needed in February then Easter was early so I had to buy the food and Easter eggs for that. Then I realised I'd have to start planning the money for the summer holidays soon. So Christmas fell to the bottom of my to do list, again.

I got an email from Park telling me there was still plenty of time until Christmas and I checked my account to see how much I'd have to put aside each week to get Christmas sorted. I took a few things off my order and moved it around until I had a goal I was happy with. I didn't have to put as much aside as I thought, and I knew I was taking care of Christmas a little bit at a time.

It's made such a difference. There’s always something that has to be paid for, and I always feel at the beginning of the year that I can't afford to do it. But knowing I can change my order, take some things out, or add other things in while I'm planning Christmas means I feel like I'm not making a commitment that I'll regret throughout the year. It was such a weight off my mind. Now I just wish I'd started making my payments sooner – but I can make sure I sort that for next year's order!

Thanks to Park I know I'll be able to give my family the dream Christmas I always wanted to."
