This pancake recipe is really simple to make and great fun for the kids. If you're feeling brave, you can even try to toss your pancakes! Your kids will love choosing different toppings!

Ingredients:

  • 4 oz (110g) plain flour sifted
  • 280 ml (1/2 pint) milk
  • 2 medium eggs
  • Pinch salt (optional)

Method

  1. Measure ingredients and mix in a bowl.
  2. Heat a non-stick frying pan (if not non-stick, melt a knob of butter).
  3. Turn heat to medium.
  4. Pour in a few spoonfuls of mixture and tilt the frying pan until base is thinly covered.
  5. Cook for a minute or two until pancake can be gently lifted with a spatula.
  6. Turn over or toss if you are feeling brave.
  7. Cook for about another minute until golden then serve with your choice of topping.
