- Watch Easter films. In recent years more studios have created Easter-themed films. Try Peter Rabbit (and the sequel if you fancy a movie marathon), Hop, Rise of the Guardians, Zootopia or Ice Age: The Great Egg-Scarpade.
- Make chocolate Easter egg nest cakes. A favourite Easter treat, kids will eat up these cheap and easy-to-make nests. We love this recipe by BBC Good Food.

Organise a good old-fashioned Easter egg hunt
A classic tradition, nothing can beat an Easter egg hunt. It keeps our little flock of lambs entertained, moving around and we can capture some wonderful family memories too. Whether around the home or the garden, send them rummaging in search of treats and they’ll have a whale of a time. Just make sure your valuables are kept safe to avoid any accidents. All your chicks need is a bucket or basket for storing their treasure! Check out this BBC Good Food article for top tips about throwing an Easter egg hunt.

Easter activities for families

Something other than chocolate…
In some households, it’s tradition to give Easter gifts in place of chocolate eggs. If you’re stuck on what to get someone, offer them the gift of choice – you can’t go wrong. Our Love2shop Gift Card can be spent at some of our favourite high street names. It’s a saving grace for anyone who might be hard to buy for. They (or if they are children, their parents) can choose to spend their gift card on a product they’ve been after, or an experience like a trip out.
We’re all guilty of leaving things last minute, but with our digital gift cards can be delivered straight to the recipient’s inbox on the same day so you never need to miss the occasion.
